Lutheran Disaster Response is closely monitoring the situation in Venezuela following the two strong earthquakes that struck on June 24.
The ELCA is in communication with our companion church, the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Venezuela (IELV), and with the Lutheran World Federation to assess conditions on the ground and identify emerging needs.
We ask you to keep in your prayers all those impacted by these earthquakes, as well as the rescue workers and the people of Venezuela. You can also support this response by making a gift to Lutheran Disaster Response, which enables us to accompany affected communities and provide critical assistance as needs unfold.
