Our Redeemer welcomes all couples who wish to make a marriage commitment, at the discretion of the pastor. You do not need to be a member of the congregation to be married at Our Redeemer. We have created this booklet (PDF) to help you understand some of the things you need to know as you plan your wedding.

That you have chosen to be married in the Christian Church, with a pastor as the officiant, means your wedding at Our Redeemer will be a worship service, where our primary focus is on God. We come together to praise and thank God for the good gifts that the Creator has showered upon the human family and upon the church. God gives us marriage as the foundation for human community. Marriage brings us a joy that begins now and is brought to perfection in the life to come.

The pastor who will officiate at your wedding service has been called by Our Redeemer, though other members of the clergy may be invited to participate in your wedding service.
